Hungarian In Chess
A former Hungarian chess master, who has been in Australia for the last 18 months and is now keen to live in New Zealand, is a late entrant in the Canterbury Chess Club’s centennial tournament next month. In his entry, Paul Dozsa says he is “a first-class food waiter” and has had “a great deal of experience in restaurant management” Dozsa's recent chess successes include victories in the Labour Day week-end tournament beating F. Flatow and C. J. S. Purdy, and the City of Brisbane championship, when he beat P. Salm. He was also second In the South Australian titles.
