CASE BY BODY

Information Sought <.V Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. The police today asked the public for information about the small packing case which was found over the body of Miss Carole Jean Harvey, aged 23, in the scrub beside College road, Glen Innes, on Sunday. They want to establish if the case was dumped there some time before, or if it was taken there with the body. The case, an outboard motor crate, is weatherbeaten and has the appearance of being in the open for some time. It is being examined by experts at the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.

The police have not been advised of the cause of death which is the subject of reports by two pathologists. Dr. D. J. A. Doyle and Dr. W. E. Dervan. There were no outward signs of the cause. The search for further clues at the site where the body was found ended today. The search and rescue squad spent seven out of the last eight days in the field on exercises or searches.
