Boy Stabbed At Dance
A boy was stabbed with a flick-knife and suffered a flesh wound above the heart during a dance in the Surf City Hall at the South Brighton Domain on Saturday evening. The boy was taken to the Christchurch Hospital, and four stitches were inserted in the cut.
The police were called and questioned a boy outside the hall. He will appear in the Children’s Court on a charge of assault.
