New Brighton Surf Results
The New Brighton Surf Club held 10 events on Sunday in a light surf. Results were:—
Colts’ surf race: C. Cooke 1, E. Harris 2, Nolan 3, Saga 4. Junior surf race (handicap): G. Skirton 1, P. Cooper 2, A. Salt 3. Junior surf race (scratch): P. Cooper 1, G. Skirton 2. K. Duke 3. Senior surf race (handicap): C. Cauldwell 1, B. Scott 2, G. Williamson 3. Senior surf race (scratch): G. Williamson 1, M. Scott 2, C. Cauldwell 3, T. Allan 4. Junior beltmen’s event: D. Sutthridge 1, S. Small and I. Wright (equal) 2. Open paddle board race.— J. Ryan 1. K. Beardsley 2, G. Harris 3. Colts’ beach sprint: S. Mitchell 1, P. Tierney 2. D. Church and C. Cooke (equal) 3.
