CARE OF THE WINDSCREEN
Dry weather and dust may tempt some car owners to wipe their windscreens with a dry cloth. This will soon 'cause small scratches on the surface of the glass which will intensify headlight glare. Keep a supply of windscreen cleaning fluid in the car, preferably in a squeeze bottle.
| Besides preventing {scratches, regular cleaning [with the fluid prevents a [greasy traffic film from buildling up on the windscreen. [Traffic film causes smearing [when screen wipers are used in rain. Windscreen wipers should never be used dry to clean dust; this will cause particularly severe scratching! of the glass.
