Regret At Timing Of Advertisement

GN’eir Zealand Press Association! OHAKEA, October 20. After President Johnson had paid a brief visit to his farm Mr G. H. Ormond Wilson said he regretted that an anti-Vietnam advertisement he signed two months ago should have been published today.

The full-page advertisement tn an Auckland newspaper protesting against New Zealand’s military involvement in South Vietnam carried 1000 signatures. “I regret that the advertisement came out today when the President was due to visit me.” said Mr Wilson. “I regret that my name appeared in such an advertisement during the President's visit.” Mr Wilson said he signed th e advertisement two months ?p(> _but had not been told when it would be published.
