Church Trustee Thanked
A motion of “grateful thanks” to Mr L. Broadhead for 34 years’ service as church steward and trust manager to the Church Property Trustees was passed by the Anglican Diocesan Synod last night. Moved by Mr L. H. Wilson and seconded by the Ven. H M. Cocks, the motion thanked Mr Broadhead for “an outstanding contribution to the planning and work of the diocese through his capable and wise administration of the various trusts and properties under his eare.”
