McKENDRICK REVERSE
No Ordinary Dividend (N.Z. Press Association* AUCKLAND, October 20. McKendrick Consolidated Industries, has passed the ordinary dividend for the year to March 31, but will pay the preference dividend of 7 per cent. The audited accounts show a consolidated net loss of £55,273 for the year. Last year net profit was £54,457 compared with £59,877 for the preceding seven months. The directors said today that action had been and was being taken to correct the profitability and liquidity of the company. The board felt sufficiently confident to announce the payment of the preference dividend of 7 per cent passed earlier this year. This dividend, amounting to £10,461, will be paid on November 21, and books will close from November 12 to 20 inclusive. Last year the company also paid an ordinary dividend of 7J per cent, taking £21,346.

Mr J. R. Cropper has become a director of United Dominions Corporation Finance. He is also managing director of Neill Cropper Holdings.
