Lord Cobham To Visit Anakiwa
(N.Z. Press Association t BLENHEIM, Oct. 19. Lord Cobham, patron of the Cobham Outward Bound School at Anakiwa, will visit the school on November 2. Lord Cobham will visit New Zealand on private business shortly. He will travel from Wellington to the school to inspect the progress it has made since he opened it in September 1962. He will return to Wellington the same day.
Canterbury Women’s Club. —The Canterbury Women’s Club celebrated its 53rd anniversary this week. The theme of an evening function was the British Isles and a programme of slides, songs and recitations was presented.
