Low Crayfish Prices In U.S.
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Oct 18. The reason for lower prices for New Zealand crayfish on the American market at present was that American buyers had three times the stocks of lobster tails that they had last year, the general manager of the Fishing IndustryBoard. Mr X S. Campbell, said today. In addition, there was a credit squeeze in the United States.
