Californian Gourmets To Tour New Zealand

Twenty-six members of a u Califorian social club, whose t chief interests are fine food, t farming and foreign affairs, t are due in Christchurch on j October 25 to begin a nine- ( day tour of the South Island. The group will arrive at ' Auckland by air on Friday for a seven-week tour of the c Dominion. They will arrive ' aboard an Air New Zealand DCB which will call at Fiji en route to New Zealand. It will be the first time one of the airline’s jets flying from North America has called at Fiji since the direct Honolulu-Auckland service began some months ago. Members of the group are from the Orange County 1 Gourmet Club. understanding among its members. While in the Dominion the group will also visit Waitomo, Wairakei, Rotorua, Wellington, Te Anau, Milford Sound, Queenstown, and Mount Cook. The group will leave Christchurch for Australia on November 3.
