Parliament’s Diary
Agreements on the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, and on the Railway and Marsden Point loans, were tabled when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon.
The Companies Amendment Bill and the Maori Purposes Bill were passed, the Local Legislation Bill was read a second time, and the Transport Amendment Bill was passed through its committee stage. Urgency was then taken on the ’ completion of the main estimates.
