REPORT TO SYNOD
St. Margaret's College
The report of the St. Margaret’s College Trust Board was received by the synod of the diocese of Christchurch yesterday. Professor H. F. T. Adams, who moved that the report be received, said that it was disturbing to note that, although there were three scholarships, there was no provision for widows, or other families faced with hardship.
Mr R. S. Latter said that he knew of difficulties that widows had in keeping their children at St. Margaret's, or even getting them there in the first place. He said he hoped that something could be done in the future.
