Two Injured When Car Hits Pole
Mr I. Parker, of 33 Rutherford street, and Mr M. Fagan, of 34 Melrose street, suffered head injuries when a car hit a pole near the corner of Hargood street and Ferry road about 3 a.m. yesterday. Both were admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. The condition of each is reported to be satisfactory.
Mr A. E. Kennard, deputyPublic Trustee, has been appointed Public Trustee for New Zealand. He succeeds Mr B. A. Ford, who will retire on December 15. —(P-A.)
