French Classic To Bon Mot

In an all-French finish Bon Mot won the Prix de I’Arc de Triomphe (lim), Europe's richest horse race, at Longchamps on Sunday. Bon Mot beat Sigebert by half a length with two lengths to Lionel. Tempo was fourth.
Bon Mot, ridden by F. Head, revelled in the heavy going, coming with a late run to land the winner’s purse of £78,000.
