Farriers’ Fees

Racefiorse owners in Sydney will get their first tangible return from the race club benefits of off-course betting beginning tomorow. y The Australian Jockey Club and the Sydney Turf Club announced at the week-end that owners would be reimburesd for race-clay farriers’ fees in the metropolitan area. This at present involved a charge of 3.50 dollars a horse. Contribution from the clubs would begin with the meeting at Canterbury tomorrow. The subsidy is expected to reach 40,000 dollars a year.
