The oldest passengers were Mr R. W. Cooper, aged 84. and his 85-year-old wife, who are to settle at Titahi Bay, Wellington. With them was their daughter. Mis G. P. R. Cooper, who will take up a position as a school teacher in Wellington. Mr Cooper has toured
ail over the world as an evangelist and visited New Zealand 10 years ago. “It’s been a big move for us, at this time of life, to move out to a new country so far from England,” said Mr Cooper, "but we all thought and prayed about It for a year and then decided it would be best to make the move. “We found New Zealand such a wonderful place to visit, the people so friendly and the land so beautiful, that we have longed to come back again.”
