School Committee Grants
Sir, —I am a primary teacher. On Friday my pupils and I became very cold working in an unheated classroom. After school I made a point of calling in at five Government departmental offices, and in every case the premises were well heated. Those in charge of primary schools have only themselves to blame for the fact that the number of young people offering for primary teaching was almost a quarter less this year than last. —Yours, etc., THOROUGHLY CHILLED. October 10, 1966.
