The New Zealand speedcar champion, B. Butterworth, will remain on 60 yards for the 25-lap Waratah Festival Trophy race at Sydney tomorrow night. National club officials were impressed with Butterworth’s first performance at the circuit last week-end when he finished third in the main event.
Butterworth's main purpose in coming to Australia before the New Zealand season begins is to build up a reputation in the hope promoters may bring him back under contract for the international meetings after Christmas.
