RAN TALENT QUEST
Two girls who had heard an address by Miss Sue Ryder when she visited Christchurch earlier this year decided to do something about it, Mrs H. C. Brown told the monthly meeting of the Christchurch branch committee of the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation last evening. The girls organised a talent quest at their school, Villa Maria College, and, encouraged by the Principal and staff, had raised £l5 for the Ryder-Cheshire international centre for relief of suffering at Dehra Dun, India. The secretary of the branch committee, Mr I. McW. Harkness, said he had already written to the college principal commending the girls for their action.
