House Brings £13.500
A Cashmere Hills house on a section of one rood 29.2 perches on the corner of McMillan avenue and Dyers Pass road was sold for £13,500 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered for the estate of H. R. Russell by Mr Ray Simes. The house has a lounge opening on to an enclosed sunroom and a veranda, dining room, four bedrooms, kitchenette, pantry, laundry, and basement There is also a double garage. The rates are £96. A two-storey weatherboard house on a section of 19.9 perches, zoned residential B, at 52 Springfield road was passed in at £4450. The auctioned was Mr J. N. Allan.
