Tunnel Tolls
Sir, — As yet I have had no need to use the tunnel, and when I do 1 am more than prepared to pay the toll. Therefore I do not agree with the lifting of the tolls. Why should motorists or whoever is “landed” with the tax through the lifting of the tunnel tolls have to pay when they may never use the tunnel?— Yours etc. 7 September 28, 1966.
