Staff Problem
“The Cheviot Hospital is in a very diflicult position for staff,” said Mr J. B. Hay, at a meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board. However, the board could not force people to go to the hospital, he said. Vacancies were reported at the Cheviot, Darfield, Kaiapoi, Kaikoura, Oxford and Rangiora hospitals.
