Not Contaminated
Waterside workers began to unload the freighter lonic this morning after Health Department assurances that she had not come dangerously close to the French nuclear testing area in the Pacific. There were fears last week that her decks and holds might be contaminated by radioactive fall-out. The lonic arrived on Saturday afternoon from Liverpool, by way of the Panama Canal. —(P.A.)
