EQUALLY PLEASED.—The winner of the Canterbury boys’ 15-mile road cycling championship, J. W. Beresford, being congratulated after the race on Saturday by Mr L. L. A. Dawe. Mr Dawe has been patron of the Mairchau Novice Wheelmen’s Club since it was formed in 1952, and Beresford is in his second year riding with the club.
