The project deals with research into social factors relating to the problem of alcoholism. The successful applicant will undertake considerable background investigation, design a research programme, and carry out extensive documentary and field inquiries. This work will be undertaken in collaboration with the North Ryde Psychiatric Centre, and the appointee will spend a considerable amount of time at the Centre. Applicants must hold an appropriate degree. Salary will be according to qualifications and experience, but will probably be in the range BA3OOO to SA4OOO p.a.
