Uprj J CADETS 17-21 A career in the Penal Service of the Justice Department begins with two years in residence at the Cadet Training School, Wellington, followed by six months in an Institution. Salary Scale:—at 17 years £560; at 18 £630: at 19 £720; at 20 £820; £942 on appointment as an officer. Salaries of senior staff go up to £2,505. Minimum educational requirement is three years secondary education; School Certificate or higher qualifications an advantage. Applicants with U.E. are likely to be sent to University during their training period.
