Obituary
DR. C. G. F. MORICE (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. The death occurred in Wellington today of Dr. C. G. F. Morice. He was 97. Dr. Morice was born In Greymouth. He qualified in London and returned to New Zealand in 1892, succeeding his father, Dr. C. L. Morice, as superintendent of the Grey River Hospital in 1894. From 1915 to 1919 Dr. Morice was in charge of the Victoria Military Hospital, Wellington.
He was also a commander of the Priory of St. John. Dr. Morice was on the management committee of the Dominion Museum from 1936 to 1958.
In 1898 Dr. Morice married Miss Louise Seddon. daughter of the former Premier of New Zealand, Richard John Seddon
He is survived bv three daughters, alLpf Wellington.
