(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Sept. 11. A party of unusual students arrived in Auckland today to start a week’s study tour of New Zealand. The 14 students come from the Imperial Defence College in London, range in rank from air v ice-marshal to captain, represent the three Armed Services and include civilians. Their itinerary includes
visits to factories and farms, talks with members of Parliament and manufacturing executives and a visit to a museum. The tour leader. Air Vice-Marshal S. B. Grant, said the main purpose of the tour was to educate senior officers of the services in areas outside their own sphere. The party is visiting New Zealand. Singapore, Western Malaysia and Australia while four similar groups tour other parts of the world.
