(N.Z. Press Association• WELLINGTON. Team-mates of the Lions flanker, R. A. Lamont, revealed last night that medical specialists had told him he would be lucky to play Rugby again. Lamont injured a muscle jin his left arm in the third match of the tour against Otago. His arm was in a sling for three weeks and then he declared himself fit for the i North Auckland match. In that game he played magnificently and won his way into the first test side the following week. His teamj mates said last night that he j should not have played. Since the injury, Lamont has been unable to raise his iarm above the waist and has | managed to conceal this from everyone, including the touring skipper, M. J. CampbellLamerton. He and other members of the team only learned of the seriousness of the injury after the final test against New Zealand on Saturday.
