Week-end Injuries

Struck by Car.—When he was struck by a car on the Main North road at Kaiapoi at 11.25 a.m. yesterday, Donald Arthur, aged 10, of 39 Peraki street, Kaiapoi, suffered head and leg injuries and shock. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.

Fell Off Motor-cycle.—Head and arm injuries were suffered by Clive Raymond Geddes, of 21 Basset street, when he fell off a motor-cycle on North New Brighton road near Lake Terrace road about 6.35 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Leg Injuries.—Barry Keith Stuart Craig, 10 Peterborough street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from leg injuries after a motor-cycle and a car collided outside the Halswell Hotel about 4.55 p.m. yesterday. Margaret Judith Wattle, of 10 Peterborough street, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for minor leg injuries. Three Injured.—A van and two cars collided at the corner of Latimer square and Worcester street about 11.30 a.m. yesterday. Roberta Conlin, of 98 Gedder avenue, was knocked unconscious and suffered head and leg injuries. John Conlin, of the same address, also suffered head and leg injuries. They were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Geraldine Hope, of No. 3 R.D., Amberley, was treated at tbe Christchurch Hospital for head injuries. Admitted to Hospital.—Winston Hume, of 174 Bordesley street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head and chest injuries and shock after a motor-cycle and car collided at the corner of Worcester and Montreal streets about about 2.25 p.m. Leslie James Thomas, of 117 Hills road, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for leg injuries.
