REFUSED TO LEAVE

Man Fined £lO A man who refused to leave the premises where his wife was reported to be living, was fined £lO by Messrs G. S. King and A. J. Henderson, Justices of the Peace, in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday on a charge of wilful trespass. He is Michael Joseph John Guy, aged 26, a yardman, who pleaded guilty. Sergeant F. G. Mulcare said the police were called to an address in Opawa road early that morning after Guy had refused to leave. The police also asked him to leave, and when he refused he was arrested. Guy said that he was “pretty drunk” at the time. Douglas John Buckley, aged 21, unemployed, was fined £5 on a charge of casting offensive matter in Oxford terrace on Friday night He pleaded guilty
