The work will entail the inspection of all Refinery equipment and the person appointed to this job will work under the instruction of the Inspection Engineer. We are seeking a person in the 23 to 30 age group who is educated up to School Certificate standard, and who is interested in progressing further in the engineering field. A suitable background would be basic training in technical engineering, and or an engineering apprenticeship, as the appointee will be required to make simple technical calculations and to be able to read and make simple drawings. A knowledge of welding would also be an advantage. The position calls for an energetic methodical man who learns quickly and expedites work in hand. He may be required to undertake further study.
