(1) tellers sent to the Editor for printing should prefer ably be typed otherwise they must be written in ink on one side of the paper only A legible signature and full address are re quired whether these are to be published or not APO box number is not a suHi cient address <2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers (3) I’he Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing: nor can he at knowledge unsuitable tetters although this will be done where <t seems to be need ful or enter into any cor respondence (4) Leiters must not be of more than 150 words I.S.T.—Not “G” but “Y”—recommended for persons 1.3 and over. No space for the discussion. Matagouri.—We cannot, as a rule, admit discussion of statements made on radio or television. B. G. McAlpine—You appear to have overlooked at least half-a-dozen editorial references in the last two months. Lest We Forget.—Objections maybe lodged at the Waimairi County Office up to Septem ber 15. As the case for and against a shopping centre in Memorial avenue will be argued before the council or a committee of the coun ci], we see no point in admitting another correspondence on the subject
