New Towing Aid
A French firm is marketing a device said to prevent trailers from “snaking.” It comprises a wire cable, attached to the rear corners of the towing vehicle and passing through specially-damped pulleys on the two leading corners of the trailer. A spring in the cable takes up any slack. The device costs about £23 in Britain, where it was recently demonstrated to press and trade representatives.
