FUTURE OF BUILDING
Committees To Make Study (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 31. Three working parties with wide objectives were established by the Building Industry Advisory Council at its meeting in Wellington yesterday. The chairman (Mr A. G. Wells) said the decisions of the meeting were aimed at increasing the contribution of building construction to the nation. The purposes of the three working parties were: To embark on a productivity study within the industry with emphasis on the present form of tendering procedure; To ensure increased efforts in education at all levels within the industry. To promote an economic study to ensure that the correct amount of the gross national product was being invested in the industry.
