‘ROSE OF TRALEE'
CN.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Aug. 31. Miss Laraine Stollery, of Hamilton, who won the title of “Miss Rose of Tralee” in the world contest in Ireland, telephoned news of her success to her delighted family yesterday morning. She left New Zealand in July as New Zealand’s representative for the world contest. Her prize includes a tour of Europe, plus £lOO spending money. The New Zealand contest was organised by the Irish Society. Miss Stollery travelled to Ireland with members of the society.
