Industrials over-all were barely steady on the Melbourne Stock Exchange today with falls shading rises in quiet trading. Key stocks were irregular. B.H.P. lost 4 cents to 604. Australian Motor Industries gained 9 cents to 52 after announcement of its first dividend for five years. Base metals were firmer with copper producers moving up slightly and King Island Scheelite up 15 cents to 230. Oils were barely steady.
