Lay Preachers Meet
The laity, and the responsibilities of preachers were discussed by a former moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery (Mr ’C. Wilson) in an address to the inaugural meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery Lay Preachers’ Association. Officers elected were;— chairman, Mr S. S. Lamont; secretary-treasurer, Mr L. G. Parke; members’ representative, Mr G. Johnston.
