Art Prize To P. Hanly

AUCKLAND, Aug. 29.
An Auckland artist, Patrick Hanly, has been awarded the 150 guinea Manawatu Contemporary Art Prize for 1966. His winning work, “Bather Bending,” will be presented to the Palmerston North Art Gallery by the Manawatu Society of Arts. The second prize of 50 guineas went to Toss Woolaston, of Greymouth.
