Seven-To-One Against
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, August 29.
Thieves who broke into a Sydney bank early today forced the one safe in the building that did not contain money. The safe-breakers were confronted with seven identical safes when they broke into the Commonwealth Bank in Goulburn street.
Police said they had begun to work on a second safe when they were apparently disturbed and fled, leaving behind their equipment.
