A modern Opawa bungalow at 98 Garlands road was passed in at £3356 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Orpah Elsie Norton by Mr N. H. McCrostie. The house has two livingrooms, two bedrooms, a sunroom, kitchen-dinette, bathroom and laundry. Outbuildings on the section of 32.5 perches include a double garage and sheds. A weatherboard house and a garage on a section of 36.5 perches at 22 Halton street, Papanui. was passed in at £3500. The auctioneer was Mr T. H. Gibbon.
