APPLICATIONS are invited for the leasing of seven sections from the Subdivision of the above land as Indicated on the plan of subdivision which may be seen at the Council Office. High street, Kaiapoi. The conditions of the lease-! hold tenure will be simllat to i those now operative for all re-1 sidential sections at Pines Beach! and Kairaki under control of the Council, which provide, inter! alia for: 1. Initial term of 21 years I with right of renewal’ for! further terms. 2. Revision of annual rentals at 7 yearly Intervals, on the' basis of six pounds five shillings per cent of the unimproved value of the section according to the Valuation Roll. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS pertaining to the sections now offered are: 3. That the lessees to whom sections are allocated will be required to contribute to wards the cost of access reading and development the sum of Three hundred pounds. a<id also pursuant io the provisions of the Counties Amendment Act. 1961. a payment of Fifty pounds towards the cost of a Sewerage Treatment Plant for the area, such payment to be refunded if this plant is not provided within a period of three years or within such time as provided by section 26 (3) of the Counties Amendment Act. 1964. 4. That in consideration of the leesee’s capital contribution as specified in (3) the discount allowable on rentals paid within the stipulated period will be fifty per cent of the determined rental for the initial seven year period of the lease, but thereafter shall be allowed at the rate of twenty per cent. 5. That no Septic Tanks are permitted on any of the new sections.
