(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) DOUGLAS. Several New Zealanders taking part in the international T.T. races on the Isle of Man will be in action on the first day of the meeting (today, New Zealand time), in the 250 c.c. lightweight event over 266 miles. New Zealand’s top hope will be the Auckland rider, G. Dixon, on a Bultaco. Strong support will come from N. Landrebe (Dunedin), riding another of the Spanish bikes. The favourite in the 95-strong field is Britain’s M. Hailwood, current world 250 and 350 c.c. champion on a Honda.
