Car In Creek: Four Hurt
Four persons were injured when a car rolled into a creek near Ashley gorge early yesterday afternoon. Grenville Hamilton, of 50 Seven Oaks drive, was admitted to Christchurch Hospital . suffering from spinal injuries. Michael William Agnew, of 130 Kainga road, suffered arm injuries: Leslie James Eggars, of 139 Avonhead road, suffered head injuries, and Kenneth Norman Hudson, of 232 Burwood road, suffered minor injuries and shock. Two cars were extensively
damaged when they collided at the corner of Worcester and Barbadoes streets about 6.50 p.m. on Saturday. Charles Campbell, of 73 Aidershot street, was admitted to Christchurch Hospital with head and arm injuries. George Kaiwhare, of 73 Aidershot street, was treated for abrasions to the head and chest.
Head Injuries
When a car and a van collided at the corner of Worcester and England streets about 8.50 p.m. on Saturday, Noeline Watson, of 37 Linwood avenue, suffered head injuries. She was admitted to Christchurch Hospital.
Fell Off Cycle
A boy, David Downs, of 12 Simeon quay, Lyttelton, suffered head injuries when he fell off a cycle at Corsair Bay late on Saturday morning. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital. Still Seriously 11l
A cyclist, who suffered serious head and leg injuries when he was involved in a collision with a car at the corner of Manchester street and Bealey avenue about 6.25 p.m. on Friday, was still on the seriously ill list at Christchurch Hospital late last evening. He is William Sheehan, of 239 Hereford street, whose condition was reported as unchanged.
