Mrs Gandhi Not To Attend

The Indian Prime Minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi, will not attend, owing to pressure of work at home, the Commonwealth conference opening in London on September 6, an official spokesman said yesterday. India’s External Affairs Minister, Mr Swaam Singh, will lead the Indian team to the conference.
