WARNING BY RUSSIAN
Nuclear War Danger

A Soviet admiral, warning of the danger of American nuclear-armed submarines, declared yesterday that not every President of the United States could be trusted with the fate of the world.
Writing in the newspaper “Sovietskaya Rossiya,” he added that even the ordinary peacetime movements of American atom-ships were a serious threat. In spite of American claims that their crews underwent faultless training, there had been incidents which proved the contrary, Admiral Andrei Chabanenko wrote. were two other factors, he said, which showed that mankind was never guaranteed against a nuclear war.
A nuclear maniac might undo the electronic locks which guard American missiles and “life has shown that not every incumbent of the White House is a person who can be trusted with the fate of the world.”
Record Bombing Missions. —America on Friday flew a record 156 bombing missions over North Vietnam, the United States Command announced yesterday.—Saigon, August 28.
