Four Admitted After Accidents

Four persons were admitted to Uje Christchurch and Princess Margaret hospitals at the week-end with injuries suffered in motor accidents. The condition of Julius Paal, aged four, of 91 River road, who suffered head injuries in a collision between a runaway truck and a car near Takamatua, on Thursday afternoon, was reported last evening to be fairly comfortable. Car Rolls Over.—When a car rolled over on the Main South road late yesterday afternoon, Peter Ling, of 40 Dyers Pass road, suffered head and arm injuries. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Li Chan Chin, of 14 Kirkwood avenue, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for arm and leg injuries. Traffic Officer Injured.—A Christchurch City Council traffic officer, David Law Son Brown, of 42 Norrie street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head and arm injuries after his motor-cycle and a van collided at the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and Tuam street about 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. Car Rolls Over.—Douglas McLean of 312 Stanmore road, suffered head and arm injuries when a car rolled over several times on the road 10

miles south of Motunau in the early hours on Saturday. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Fell Out of Car.—Head injuries and shock were suffered by Christopher Ellis, aged three, of 36 Kinley street, Rangiora, when he fell Out of a car on the Main North road near Daniels road about 7.27 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
