FLOODS IN AUSTRIA
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) VIENNA, August 21. More than 5000 troops walked and waded through four provinces in central and southern . Austria yesterday trying to restore normal life to the flood-ravaged area where 19 people have died. More deaths were expected to be discovered as the troops made their way into remote alpine valleys isolated by raging torrents and landslides. Total flood damage was yesterday estimated at more than £l4 million.
