T HAVE found that when A one is alone, one can draw on a thousand things one has enjoyed in the past, either in one’s own experience or in reading. The great thing is to cultivate a well-stored mind; for with this in one’s head, one can never feel dull. The stores to draw upon reach snowball proportions. And the cumulative effect in middle-age is really quite delightful.— Mary Seaton speaking in a 8.8. C. talk about enjoying one’s own company.
